Stories from the people of the East End Docklands Steam and sauna Rooms in Canning Town, London. 

Steamers follows the stories of people who love to go steaming in the East End docklands steam and sauna in Canning Town. The short film features people from all walks of life who share a love of the steam. Whilst inside the hot walls they can share their stories, secrets, trials and tribulations. In the steam rooms everyone is equal. The film is a story about community, camaraderie and friendship.

Steamers was commissioned by channel 4 for the ‘Shooting Gallery’, the late night showcase of the UK’s most exciting emerging film-making talent.
