Steamers follows the stories of people who love to go steaming in the east end docklands steam and sauna in canning town. Whilst inside the hot walls they can share their stories, secrets, trials and tribulations. In the steam rooms everyone is equal. The film is a story about community, camaraderie and friendship.

Steamers was commissioned by channel 4 for the shooting gallery, the late night showcase of the uk’s most exciting new film-making talent.
